SHRI PARAMHANS ADVAIT MAT:
The Mission made its advent over a hundred years ago, to spread and preach truth, ideals of Bhakti, Karma-Yoga and Spiritual teachings. The founder of the Mat and the first perfect Spiritual Master, the prophet of the age, Paramhans Shri Shri 108 Shri Swami Advait Anand Ji Maharaj Sanyasi Puri was born in the year 1846 AD. He preached for the good of humanity and for the common masses in general. After that, this holy mission was successively carried over by His Sanyasi Successors and now is swiftly moving towards its goal by giving lasting spiritual peace of mind to humanity and promoting universal brotherhood which is the gist of all the religions and faiths. The Great Saints of the Mat have all preached and demonstrated by practical application in their own lives and thus helped thousands of others to adorn these truths and teachings in their lives for their mental, moral and spiritual advancement. The present Fifth Master of the Spiritual Mission Shri Shri 108 Shri Swami Darshan Puran Anand ji Maharaj has widened the promotion of spiritual knowledge by inspiring high ideals of devotion, karma yoga, love, compassion and truth in the entire humanity who so ever has taken shelter under their umbrella.
ACTIVITIES OF THE TRUST:
Shri Anandpur Trust at its Central Head Office Shri Anandpur Distt. Ashok Nagar (MP), in order to enhance the cause of spiritual upliftment and social welfare was instituted as a registered body, on 22nd April 1954. Now it is an embodiment of social services also. The Trust is executed by board of trustees comprising of thirty six Mahatmas and Bhagats. The Trust is dedicated towards its aims and objects enshrined in its constitution.
Satsang Prachar: The message of the mission for truth and love adorns in furtherance of the teachings to bring peace, bliss, love and joy in the lives of suffering humanity. The spiritual education of “Sant Mat” is imparted to the devotees and aspirants hailing from all parts of the country through Shri Anandpur ashram and its many other Satsang Prachar Bhavans situated all over the country. Ashram inmates along with Sadhu Mahatmas live their lives to accomplish objectives of life – self realization and humaneness. Their day timing is divided in morning and evening prayers, Satsang, Seva, Simran and Dhyan (meditation). Every such devotee is associated with one or other spiritual or charitable Seva in working period. Monthly magazines are published in the language of Hindi, Sindhi and English to educate the devotees in the field of spiritual education. Number of spiritual books also are being published from time to time on no profit basis so as to ease financial implementations of the readers.
Charitable activities: The Trust, in addition to its spiritual aims, has also initiated a number of welfare institutions/schemes as charitable hospitals, dispensaries and schools for promotion of social welfare of the inhabitants of the area. Several charitable medical relief centers and educational centers are opened by the trust, so that human life may become peaceful, healthy and glorious. The Trust has been performing its duty towards the Nation as and when National emergencies or disaster calamities took place in the country by lending very helping hand in favor of the Government. The Trust makes substantial contributions to the PM’s Relief Fund and Madhya Pradesh CM’s relief funds on a number of occasions. The Trust is also assisting various social and welfare relief institutions in MP and elsewhere in the country for promotion of social causes and benefit the general public at large. A new orientation of high magnitude was introduced for social service and public welfare activities of the Trust, in the year 1977. A modern 125 bedded hospital started at village Sukhpur Tehsil Esagarh Distt. Ashok Nagar (MP), for providing benefit to inhabitants of this rural and backward area. The hospital has comprehensive outdoor patients departments including Medical, Surgical, Orthopedic, Ophthalmological, ENT, Dental, X-ray, Physiotherapy, Pathological Laboratories, modern Operation Theatres and ICU. It is furnished with latest equipments and Medical, Surgical, Ortho, Eye and ENT Wards. The hospital has a residential complex which provide free accommodation to doctors, nurses, medical and other staff. Punjab national bank is functioning and providing their services to the public. Dharamshala, free of cost has been provided outside the hospital main gate for patient attendant’s relief and relaxation.
The hospital has managed and engaged highly qualified doctors and medical technicians those who are well versed with tackling the medical and health problems in the said rural area. A number of devotees are also rendering their selfless services in this hospital without any remuneration and only with missionary spirit and selflessness.
During the past more than thirty nine years of its existence, it has provided benefit to public over and above seventy three Lacs. Over 24682 major Eye operations and 275316 Surgical operations have been conducted and performed successfully. The hospital had already gained reputation for missionary zeal, selfless service, courtesy and cleanliness. The hospital has healthy and rich environment, spiritual and physical conducive to speedy recovery due to efficient treatment, sympathy and selfless and sincere services.
The hospital is providing medical facilities irrespective of caste, colour or creed. The hospital is serving the rural and remote area of the region comprising mostly of Adivasis and other backward communities living below poverty line. The hospital distributes medicines and all other allied items free of cost both to outdoor patients and indoor patients. Free food including three time meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner), milk, fruit etc. is also being served to indoor patients for their healthy health.
The hospital has held 40 free Eye camps, 2 free Laparoscopy camps, 27 Ortho camps and other related health care camps in the period of past 39 years, which have benefitted round about 60000 patients in these organized camps. Everything including medicines, medical stores, admissions, investigations, operations, aids, implants, calipers, tricycle, wheel chair, crutches, food and spectacles etc. is also provided to the patients without any charges against the concerned doctor’s prescription. 27 Orthopaedic Camps for handicapped children and others have been held so far which have benefitted 27317 patients. Consultation, Investigation, physiotherapy, Surgical operations and free provision of tri-cycles, crutches, calipers, boots etc. were distinctive features of these camps. The camps have been immensely popular and won the acclaim of all the region. A first free ENT camp was held in the year 1999. It proved an outstanding success and was the need of the hour. Over 1000 patients benefitted from the services of ENT Surgeons of wide repute. Eye and Orthopaedic camps have now become an annual feature of this Trust hospital. Mostly it has regularly been organized in the month of December and February.
The annual allocation of hospital funds stands approved and released accordingly by Shri Anandpur Trust. The entire budget for recurrent expenditure for meeting day to day functioning of the hospital is also met by the Trust, in addition to this, it also extends so many other facilities to the hospital for smooth functioning.
The hospital services are purely on humanitarian basis without any distinction of cast, creed and colour, with the aim to bring relief and peace to the patients’ hard burning and suffering life. The hospital has proved a heavenly boon to the people of this area and beyond offering selfless services which attracts with highly reputed medical experts from all over the country and abroad to reap the merit of selfless service and to fulfill their lives with peace, joy and bliss of our Shri Satguru Dev ji Maharaj.
